Compass Support
GPS accuracy
Button display your GPS actual horizontal accuracy. If is accuracy larger than 16 meters, information about Bad GPS signal is showed.
On tap on this button you can also see your actual Latitude and Longitude
Actual speed
Button display your actual speed (if is GPS signal good).
On tap on this button you can also see heading direction. If you're still on position, heading will be probably 0°
Distance to target
Button display distance to selected target (if is GPS signal good).
On tap on this button you can select another waypoint.
If you're not accessing Compass from Cache detail, no target is predefined. Button will show 'N/A' By tapping on button you can define new target.
Direction to target
Red end of arrow display direction to your target.
North direction
Background of compass is rotating to correct display North.
Warning. Palm Pre and Palm Pixi doesn't have hardware compass. Red arrow and compass background is computed from your speed and heading direction. If you're still standing and rotating, arrow and backgrond will still.
Troubleshooting
If you have troubles with compass accuracy and it always show "Measuring" message, check your carrier. If you have Verizon, problem is found. Verizon blocking third party GPS applications.
